Welcome new students! The first day of school is Monday, September 13 For Science class you will need a "Composition Book", NOT SPIRAL, to be used as your journal. Do you want to go on a week-long field trip learning outdoors? This year we have two great trips already reserved if you are interested. Our first ever trip to Camp KEEP Cambria Pines is scheduled for Monday Oct. 25, 2010 through Friday Oct. 29, 2010 ( link) Our 4th annual trip to Yosemite is scheduled for Sunday Feb. 20, 2011 through Fri Feb. 25, 2011 (link) We have scheduled a meeting for Thursday, September 16, 2010 in the Cafeteria at 5 pm to present the opportunities, gauge the demand and collect enough deposits to secure the trips. We will need lots of help with fundraising, chaperones, collecting winter clothes for students, and more to pull these off. We have several other opportunities, including a more local trip to the Santa Monica Mountains Institute at Circle X Ranch.
