Target Field Trip Grants for Teachers
The Target Field Trip Grants program provides funds for K-12 field trips in order to give students throughout the country the opportunity to explore more of the world outside the classroom.

Emerson Participates in the Governor's Fitness Challenge
All Emerson students participated in the 2010 Governor's fitness challenge to win a $100,000 fitness center. Families helped by participating and getting "bonus" points. Click on the link for details.
Emerson Tops Million Word Challenge for Dec. and Jan.
While participating in the Million Word Challenge, Emerson students read the most books for the month of December 2009 and January 2010. Big congrats to Francesca L. for topping the word count with 1,669,335 words read for the 2 months. Thanks to a generous donation from the Pearson Foundation, Emerson will receive $1000 worth
of books for each winning month.
